'2021' INKWASHES

Gilbert & George have created a suite of 12 Inkwashes with each design featuring in an edition size of 50 originals.

Rich, heavy brush strokes depict blunt and direct exclamations, so often overheard in streets, restaurants or whilst travelling, inciting the viewer or listener to theorise and explore the messages portrayed to them from the artists.

Each Inkwash is individually hand-painted, numbered and signed by the artist on 400 gsm watercolour paper.
